The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is the official destination marketing organization of Southern Nevada, promoting tourism, conventions, meetings and special events.
Convention centers, events centers, meeting rooms. If it's where people meet, it's offered by one of the LVCVA's world-class facilities. And visitors always have a variety of options. Some of the largest conventions and trade shows in the world call Las Vegas home for one reason - the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) can handle the volume, traffic and grand-scale requirements that make a successful show. From the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to World of Concrete, the LVCC can accommodate millions of square feet of floor space, outdoor exhibit space, meeting rooms, training rooms and plenty of parking. Cashman Center provides an array of open hall space, meeting and exhibit rooms, as well as a minor-league baseball stadium for special events - and is located in Downtown Las Vegas, just blocks from the famous Fremont Street experience and vintage downtown hotels. In addition, the LVCVA owns and operates five visitor information and welcome centers.
The Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), located adjacent to the Las Vegas Strip, encompasses approximately 3.2 million square feet with exhibit space of 2 million square feet and meeting space of nearly 250,000 square feet. The facility is one of the busiest centers in the world - centrally located within three miles of over 100,000 guest rooms.
Operated by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), the center is well known for its versatility, size, and amenities. In addition to exhibit and convention space, 144 meeting rooms handle seating capacities ranging from 20 to 2,500. A grand lobby and registration area efficiently link existing exhibit halls with new exhibit and meeting rooms, and allow simultaneous set-up, break-down and exhibiting of multiple events.
In 2012, the Las Vegas Convention Center received AIPC Gold Certification from the International Association of Convention Centers. The AIPC reviewed the organization's management practices, policies, procedures and customer service. In addition, they rated facility performance measures, financial accountability, economic impacts, security, emergency response, financial integrity; employee, supplier and community relations, communications and environmental responsibility.
Cashman Center offers a 10,000-seat outdoor sports stadium - home to a triple-A baseball franchise; a 1,898-seat, state-of-the-art theater; 14 meeting rooms; and 98,100 square feet of exhibit hall space.
Cashman Center was designed with three goals: convenience, workability and versatility. You'll not only find ample square footage, but will also discover that every square foot of Cashman Center was created to make your job as a meeting planner or exhibitor easier. Each of these facilities can be used independently, or combined to suit your specific requirements. That means you only use what you need, thus reducing your costs.
